Jigsy: New site, new features

Jigsy’s website is gaining a whole new look, and along with that, its service just got a shot in the arm. New or improved features include drag and drop in the editor, an updated stock image library, 30 new themes, and more. See the announcement at Jigsy.com.

WordPress.com Classrooms and three new themes

WordPress.com is showing educators some love with a new microsite showcasing how to use its service in the educational field. (Get the news release here.) And new to the theme library: Blocco, Crafty, and Hustle Express. (See the post on WordPress.com’s support blog.)

TypePad’s service upgrades

TypePad’s releases for this week: some mobile bug fixes and a handful of new CSS classes for users who like to tinker directly with styling rules. Read the release notes.

Virb: Theme updates plus mobile slideshows

Users on Virb’s platform should check out the all-new Mason theme, and the Spotlight theme which has been updated for mobile screens. (Read more.) Also in the mobile arena, Virb’s slideshows have been upgraded for smaller screens, including support for touch.

Yola: New blog launched

Yola’s official news outlet has been recently redesigned for better product-related articles and deeper user enagement. New features include streamlined categories, content search, related post suggestions, as well as a comments section.
